Richmond, VA :::
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
The
Most Effective Martial art for ChildrenIn Japanese, Jiu-Jitsu is
defined as "The Gentle Art". What this means for children is that
they can apply as little, or as much force as is necessary to end a
confrontation. If a child encounters a "bully", trading
blows is rarely a good solution. While we teach them to avoid
confrontation at all costs, sometimes a physical confrontation is
unavoidable. If that occurs, we make sure your child has the
skills necessary to defend themselves. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaches
the methodology to safely and effectively control their opponent.
From a controlling position, they are better able to escalate or defuse
a situation.
